Spreading the Word One Meal at a Time

If there is a category that Olson Communications hits out of the park every time, it is grand openings for restaurants in the Valley…  from quality hits in magazines and newspapers to driving Valley-area VIPs to those important first meals that the restaurant serves.  Food PR is a passion for several of us in the office and I believe it shows in the successful results of the PR campaigns for those clients.

In my humble opinion of doing restaurant openings for more than a decade, if there is one silver bullet for success – it is giving someone a complimentary meal. Sounds simple. To some restaurant operators it sounds expensive. But, what better way to sell someone on what you offer than to give them a test drive for free?  If there is one way to a person's pocket book – it's through their stomach!
